Perfect for breakfast they literally have something for everyone. PRO TIP: Get there early it gets busy!
The Rock Inn
Mountain Tavern
Perfect for a true rustic Colorado dinner. They make a lot of food from scratch and it's delicious! PRO TIP: They don't take reservations so be prepared to practice patience.
Rocky Mountain Deli
Sandwiches made with fresh baked bread make the best fuel on a long hike!
Ember
This is where we eat out most for a nicer experience. They are on the lake so perfect for sunset. Lots of options for dietary restrictions. Great bar and kids like it too!

Emerald Lake
Easy
Fair warning this if going to be crowded. However there are multiple lakes along the way so if your group can make it to the finish you'll at least get one photo op!
Chasm Lake
Difficult
Hike above tree line and be rewarded with 360 views of the rockies! Make sure to start this one early to avoid thunder storms!
The Ute Trail
Easy/Moderate
Choose your own adventure on The Ute Trail. This used to be the old trail the Utes used for the summer migration. Go out as far as you want and turn back around. It is truly breathtaking!
Via Ferrata
Challenge yourself while taking in incredible views of the Estes Valley! Guest staying with us get exclusive discounts!
Mountain Coaster
My nephews beg me to take them here every time they visit! This is a perfect filler activity!
Fly Fishing
Estes is a premiere place to go fly fishing! It is the second most popular activity to hiking!
What To Do With Kiddos
Keeping your kids entertained during vacation is the whole point but also takes the most planning sometimes. As parents to a toddler and an Aunt and Uncle to teenagers this is what we have found kids enjoy the most!
Rec Center Pool
With a zero depth entry kiddie area, a lazy river, and epic slide this pool brings fun for everyone! Check their website for current pool hours
Fun City
Another great for all ages activity. Features, giant slide, roller coaster, mini golf and more!
Stanley Park
The largest playground in Estes. Features for all ages. There is also a skate park and bike park.
PRO TIP: Avoid during May as many cow elk have their babies here and can be aggressive.
YMCA of the Rockies
Choose from archery, the craft shop, nature classes or just walk the grounds.
PRO TIP: you will need to purchase a day pass to use activities.
Estes Library
They have toys, computers, story time and of course books. Great for a filler activity or rainy day. Check their website for current schedule.

For kids tall enough this is a must do activity! Great for filling time before check in.
